Application Process

  1. Confirm the property is within Snow Hill Town limits.
  2. Before construction begins, the lot and location of proposed improvements must be staked out on the ground and inspected by the Code Enforcement Officer or designee.
  3. Submit a building permit application to the Code Enforcement Officer with all required documentation and fees. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
  4. For plumbing and electrical work, obtain separate permits from the Worcester County DRP at One West Market Street, Room 1201 (410-632-1200). The Town does not perform plumbing or electrical inspections.

  6. Once approved, permit is issued and must be posted on the job site.

  8. Upon final inspections passing, a Certificate of Use and Occupancy is issued by the Code Enforcement Officer.
