Application Process

  4. Town Hall forwards the application to the Garrett County Planning & Land Management Division at the Courthouse for final review and approval.
  5. If a county building permit is also required, bring the approved zoning permit to the county Permits & Inspections Division or apply via Citizen Connect for residential projects, and submit building plans and supporting documents.
  6. Pay county building permit fees.
  7. Receive issued permits. Post the placard on site. Construction may not begin until all required permits are issued.
