Lake View Plantation is the second plantation in Piscataquis County (District 3), located in the eastern part of the county near Schoodic Lake. LUPC building permits are required before plumbing permits can be issued.

Application Process

  1. Contact Lake View Plantation Town Office via https://www.lakeviewpltme.org/permits for local permit forms.
  2. Obtain LUPC building permit first (required before plumbing permit). Contact LUPC Moosehead Regional Office at (207) 349-0941 or submit to ApplicationSubmissions.LUPC@maine.gov.
  3. Download the Building Permit Application from https://www.maine.gov/dacf/lupc/application_forms/applications/BP_App_2025.pdf
  4. Complete and submit LUPC application with full project description, plot/site plan, building plans, and required attachments.
  5. After LUPC building permit is in hand, obtain plumbing permit from Local Plumbing Inspector.
