Application Process

  1. Confirm property is in unincorporated Canyon County (not within any city limits).
  2. Obtain pre-permit approvals as required: wastewater (septic approval from Southwest District Health, or sewer hookup authorization), highway district access permit, fire district approval if structure is 150+ feet from public road, and floodplain development permit if in a flood hazard area.
  3. If in a subdivision, obtain Architectural Control Committee (ACC) review and approval.
