Application Process

  1. Download Building Permit Application form from City of Arco website or obtain from City Hall.
  2. Complete the Building Permit Application form and prepare two (2) copies of all construction documents.
  3. Include plot plan showing building location on property, architectural plans, structural details, mechanical/electrical layouts as applicable.
  4. Submit filled form in person at City Hall (302 W. Grand Ave) or mail to P.O. Box 196, Arco, ID 83213.
  5. City planning and building staff review application for code compliance and zoning conformance.
  6. Upon approval and payment of applicable fees, permit is issued.
  7. Two copies of permit provided (one for city file, one for job site).
  8. Permit must be displayed at job site at all times during construction.
