Application Process

  1. For new construction and additions, begin with the city's Zoning Verification for New Construction and Additions form. The public form requires the applicant to be the property owner or provide owner authorization.
  2. Submit the required zoning-verification materials: deed or legal description, plat, complete set of stamped plans, and copy of the State of Georgia contractor license.
  3. Submit the permit application and supporting documentation directly to City Hall at 112 W Dykes Street. Construction drawings may be submitted digitally by email to Lisa Eisele at leisele@cityofcochran.com.
