Application Process

1. Prepare a completed application, two sets of plans, and a site/plot plan.
2. Submit plans and application to the regional building department at Craig City Hall or by email where accepted.

General Requirements

Building permits are required for all structures larger than 200 square feet, fences higher than 6 feet, and retaining walls greater than 4 feet. Septic permits are also issued through the building department and cost $100.

• Storage structures for passenger vehicles, recreational vehicles, equipment, construction tools and equipment not directly related to agriculture, and workshops are not treated as agricultural buildings for this exemption
